You are in charge of material purchasing at a small online electronics products selling company. Your company wants to display its products in special boxes in order to attract more consumers. The packaging material vendor produces two types of boxes called X and Y. The vendor has two requirements; number of type Y boxes cannot exceed 80 and at most one-third of the boxes purchased should be type X. Each type X box requires 25 minutes production time and weighs 8 pounds. Each type Y box requires 30 minutes production time and weighs 6 pounds. There are 2000 minutes of production time available and the delivery truck has a capacity of 550 pounds. Each unit of type X generates a profit of $40 and each Y generates $120.
