Mrs P Casso has asked you to prepare the bank reconciliation for February 2021. The following information is available: 1. The bank statement for February 2021 reflected a closing balance of R8 748 (overdraft). 2. All the reconciling items on the January bank reconciliation appears on the February 2021 bank statement. 3. This EFT payment was recorded as R80. but both the supplier invoice and the February bank statement reflect that the actual amount paid via EFT was R800. 3.3 The February cash payments journal (CPJ) includes the following EFT payments made on the 28 February 2021 which does not appear on the February 2021 bank statements: - EFT 324 for R327, that was made out for the purchase of stationary. EFT 358 for R4 600, that was made out for the purchase of inventory. 4. The following additional items appear on the February 2021 bank statements: A deposit (debit) of R500 which the bank had processed erroneously in Crazy Crafts' bank account instead of Crazy Crabs. A debit order payment for the monthly rent amounting to R5 200. A stop order for the monthly insurance premium amounting to R654. Total bank charges for February 2021 of R341. A debit order for R1 000 that had been received from, A. Artsy bounced due to insufficient funds. A. Artsy sub-leases a part of the shop where she exhibits and sells her craft creations
