• You are to choose an article that discusses COVID-19 and the intercultural communication problems associated with it.  This article can be academic, from an online news source, or a paper-based news source.  The publisher and writer must be reputable.  No articles by Taylor Swift in "The Onion."  YouTube and other video sources will not be acceptable either. 
• Read the article so that you thoroughly understand it.
• Then answer the following questions.
  • What is the main issue or problem that the author is focusing on in this article?
  • Discuss the significance of the issue that is the focus of the article.  Why is it important?  On what do you based your assertions regarding its significance?
  • What are the main communication concepts being used in the article which relate to the main issue?  (The communication concepts do not have to be explicitly identified. You can identify them using the vocabulary and concepts you have learned from the book.) 
  • What are the conclusions being drawn by the author? 
  • What are the implications of the conclusion(s)?
  • Does the author have a point of view?
  • Has anything been ignored by this author, or has not been considered in dealing with this communication issue?
