You are working as part of the Strategic Vision team at a small rural primary care clinic. The CEO of your organization has decided that it is time to offer an employee wellness plan. Your job is to design a wellness plan that fits your assigned setting and present your proposal to the CEO and CFO of your organization. For your Critical Thinking Exercise, submit an outline of your plan. Include the following items in your plan:

  • An introductory statement about the plan and its expected benefits to employees and the employer.
  • 4-6 key plan elements based on what you learned this module
  • A statement of how your elements were selected (employee survey, research, anecdotal evidence, the elements you would want for yourself, etc.)
  • An informed statement on cost vs. benefit of plan implementation and maintenance.
  • 3-4 challenges/risks you expect to face with this plan and how you plan to mitigate the risks. At least one of these risks must be related to the cost of implementation/maintenance of the program.
