You are working in a veteran's group home for clients with anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and depressive and personality disorders. Some of them use self-mutilation by cutting their wrists to divert their pain. Most of these residents stay in the group home for 1 year. There is no limit to the number of sessions that they can attend. The first priority is to get them involved in individual therapy - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) 

-Include an overview of the skills that the residents will learn in this therapy to help them decrease their incidence of self-harm.

-Invite client participation by preparing for a question-and-answer period.
