You as a systems analyst and designer was asked to analyze and design a Private Library Management Information System (PLMIS). The proposed system should keep track the following data items: Library member ID no, library member name, library member civil no, expire date of civil no, mobile, address, library member E-mail address, library member nationality, date of paying annual membership fees, book name, ISBN (International Standard Book Number), book index number, author name(s), publisher name, publisher E-mail address, publisher web site address, book edition number, publishing year, book price in OMR, book purchasing date, book borrowing date, and book returning back date. Each author may write more than one book, and each book may be written by more than one author. Each book is published by only one publisher. There is only one copy from each book in the library. The librarian is responsible for indexing books and putting them on the right places on the different shelfs in the library. A library member (borrower) may borrow more than one book. Library membership should be renewed annually after paying annual membership fees to the librarian. The proposed system should notify the librarian for library members (borrowers) who borrowed books for more than three weeks. If a borrower borrowed a book for more than 3 weeks, he/she would pay a fine (OMR5). If a borrower returned a book in a bad state (damaged book), he/she would pay a fine (OMR 40). Users of this system can search books by book name, author name(s), or ISBN. Also they can check book status (exist/ borrowed). Assume any mandatory, optional, and relationships from the previous case study and from your logical point of view. For the above case study, and using Sybase Power Designer S/W draw the following diagrammatic techniques: (5marks) 1. A conceptual data model (ERD), or a class diagram. 2. A use case diagram. (Smarks) 3. What are the suitable data items in the previous case study for building indices? What are the advantages and disadvantages for building an index? (3marks) 4. Write one of the business rules (integrity constraints) for the previous case study (2marks)
