However, sporting events are one of the actors that indeed contribute significantly to environmental pollution from traveling from one place to another using airlines or big buses which discharge CO2 into the atmosphere. Apart from this, the manufacturing of sportswear, food waste, and plastic waste during events all contribute to environmental problems.
