You father is a house painter who paints the inside of apartments a room at a time. He is tired of estimating how much paint he needs over and over and over. You offer to help him with your new logic and problem solving skills and the development of a simple program. Your father will be perfectly happy if you provide the information that he needs to purchase the number of gallons of paint he will need for >a< room. He will keep track of how many total gallons and using this approach he can separate the gallons into different colors if need be. All of the rooms have 4 walls. The height of the rooms may vary. He is not worried about windows and doors because an overage of paint gets passed on to the property manager to use for maintenance. Cost varies from job to job so your father will calculate the total cost when he prepares the estimate.

Can you answer your father's question? Do this using the following:

1. Write out a simple description of what approach you plan on using to solve the dilemma. You will find that you need to ask questions of your father in order to prepare a solution. Include in this step the questions you will need to ask.

2. Create a step by step algorithm using pseudo code or simple English that defines your approach in more detail. Make sure that the algorithm contains every step that will be required.

3. Develop a diagram that expresses how you will construct the logic for your solution from step 2.

4. Submit ALL of the above in one file... either a docx, ppt, or pdf.
