You have become aware that your company in the Information Technology industry (choose one) is experiencing some significant problems with EMPLOYEE MOTIVATION and wants to address this growing problem. After your proposal to research this topic (you will compose this report proposal document firstsee below) has been approved, your supervisor has asked you to consult current research on the topic and prepare a report that uses research and data to (1) explain what employee motivation is and what the causes of a lack of motivation can be, particularly in its current form; (2) explain why the topic of employee motivation is important in current times and why it needs to be addressed (the advantages and benefits of doing so); (3) explain what the company can expect if they do not address their employees' lack of motivation (risks and disadvantages of not addressing it); (4) provide a synthesis of findings regarding what experts have identified as ways to address employee motivation or improve it; and (5) make 4-5 detailed and justified recommendations for the company's new strategy to improve employee motivation moving forward based on the findings of your research.

LEARNING OUTCOMES ASSESSED:

CONTENT and TASK

The topic will be the one you selected for your research report (listed above).
