You have been asked by your organization, ABC Firm, to move your company into a new office.

Your company is in the Seattle, Washington area.

Your current building is 10,000 square ft of space. You need to find something comparable at a competitive price. Your company currently pays about $35.00 a sq. ft per year. 1000 sq ft will be used for your test lab.

You have 50 employees, equip and many employees would like a parking solution.

You need office space and a test lab set up for the equipment and your employees.

You need to think about the following contractors:

Carpentry

Plumbing

Desks

Computers

Cubicles

Lunchroom area

Network infrastructure set up

Signage

For the assignment you can use $280 per square foot for construction costs.

Your assignment- The CEO would like you to come up with a plan to move the company in the new space.

You need to come up with a project plan that includes, charter, scope statement, activity list, WBS, schedule, budget, risk analysis, communication plan, procurement plan, lessons learned

Each employee will need a desk, chair, and computer. Five of the employees who are in leadership will need an office.

I have included the templates for each week. It is up to you to fill in the information. You will need to use your imagination on some of the information and be creative to come up with the process for finding a building and moving the company. This is a hypothetical project, so your timeline doesn't have to be the duration of the quarter. You just need to produce the plan.

I am not as interested in exact numbers for this assignment as much as you are able to demonstrate that you can use the tools.
