You have been asked to be a professional consultant to assist the Law Enforcement Academy of a Metropolitan police department that represents a multi-ethnic community that has had problems with racial profiling and racial tensions. You have been asked to help the academy determine which potential officers would be a good fit for the police department and which potential officers need to be held back from graduating as they may need more sensitivity training or have a psychological profile of being unfit for law enforcement duties. You must also take into consideration this era of Police Reform and what that means to your consultancy, testing, evaluation, interviews and final analysis and submitted results. How would you go about determining who seems to be a good fit or unfit to graduate from the academy, and/or work in these troubled areas?
