You have been assigned as the PM for a new project. Here is the information you have been given to get you started.

You work for a global consumer products company, called FoodCo that manufactures and markets brand-name food products for consumers throughout the world.

The municipal government has released new production legislation that must be met (implemented) within 2 years.

With a legislative deadline in place and $260 million (Net Sales Value) worth of products, FoodCo has less than two years to reformulate, test, produce, and distribute over 450 of its products in order to meet the local municipalities deadlines for regulatory compliance using FDA guidelines. This includes making changes to their current systems - pricing and products, marketing/material, online ordering, online website, customer service, billing, etc.

The existing internal corporate team is not able to handle the workload so they have hired an external consulting company, called ConIT, to be onsite and perform the work and you, as the PM, will manage and oversee all the work.

Given what you know so far document the following (you may not have all the information you need to complete everything but you can make assumptions by documenting them and what steps you need to take to get the information you need).

Case Study Question 1: Define the Scope Statement including what is in and what is out.

2.Using the PMBOK 5 phases, put together a high level project schedule, ensuring you include all the project phases

3.Draw a physical dataflow diagram (physical DFD focuses on how the system is implemented) clearly identifying the flow of information/data from system to system

4.Put together a multidisciplinary team, identifying what skillsets are required which each member and their role and responsibilities in this project
