You have designed a Shopping Website for buying groceries that mainly targets older people in the UK. You have found that many of the older people would like to order groceries online but they are not comfortable with the traditional websites such as Tesco and Sainsbury's. They feel that they tend to get lost in the menus and often give up. To solve this problem you have taken certain steps (Its not important what those steps are) and you feel that you have designed a website that will help older people accomplish their tasks. [CLO-5] Design a Controlled Experiment to check this assumption that your website is indeed better for older people. What would be your Hypothesis, Dependent and Independent variables. Note: You have to compare your site to both Sainsburys and Tesco. Clearly justify your Dependent Variable and discuss in detail how you will carry out the experiment.
