You have recently joined the education and community engagement unit of a public health commission. The unit develops education, outreach, and treatment strategies, that promote resident engagement, increase community awareness of communicable diseases, and advance shared strategies to prevent and mitigate disease transmission.

There are four staff members in the unit:

      2. Community outreach officer.
      3. Community education officer.
      4. Part-time office administrator.

The unit has little coordination between staff members. One of the key problems is the daily morning meeting. Little about this meeting functions as it should. Interest is low, attendance is haphazard, and there is rarely a concrete agenda.
