We have witnessed a dramatic loss of small business due to COVID shut downs, while we have also seen gains on part of large businesses, Amazon as one example. Is this truly 'free market? (Q1) and is the problem capitalism as a system or monopolistic forms of capitalism (Q 2)? Some propose more government involvement in the economy (redistribution, UBI etc) as a means to remedy this.
