You investigate the organizational structure of GearOn. The company is still strongly linked to GearUp because they share accounting, marketing, and IT departments. The managers of each gym report to GearUp vice president Adam White because GearOn does not yet have its own Vice President. Adam White reports to Kelly.

Then you investigate the business processes of GearOn and you find that they buy gym equipment and uniforms through GearUp. You also learn that each member has a fitness plan that is kept on file with his or her other general data and each member's account number is shared with GearOn so that the company can also track what sports equipment members buy.

The gyms provide sports teams, trainers, and nutrition counselors as well as workout rooms and exercise classes. Members can sign up for any of these services. The coaches, trainers, and counselors are notified when clients arrive in a variety of ways, and then work with their clients as needed. Each coach, trainer, and counselor keeps individual records for his or her clients, in which they track their specific goals for teams, training, and nutrition. Each also gives clients specific recommendations for exercise and eating, and tracks client progress in his or her area of expertise.

Receptionists keep track of member attendance and payment that goes to GearUp's accounting department.
