It is important to know where to start, and what to include in your marketing plan. You are advised to refer to chapter 3 in your book for further information. You might want to start with a step-by-step draft, which will help you in managing the plan casily Marketing plans may differ, but they will all include some common basic sections, as follows: *Executive Summary This section will give a brief overview of your business plan Although brief, the overview must be meaningful impactful and well written. Your goal is to draw attention so people will be engaged in reading and learning more about your business. You are recommended to write this section after you have worked out the minutiae of your plan, and then summarized your ideas briefly and precisely. In the executive summary you will include: Business name and location Type of products and/or services proposed What differentiates you from others Your business mission statement The purpose of your marketing plan such as (increasing sales, build awareness, branding) * Business Description Explain who you are, how you will function and what your objectives are In this section you are going to write about The legal form under the Ministry of Industry. Commerce & Tourism in Bahrain (partnership, sole proprietorship, etc.) The type of your business andustry, and the needs of your consumer Describe your products service, suppliers), and marketing intermediaries Describe your customers profile, and the targeted customer segments * Your Marketing Mix This is one of the most important sections in your report, in which you will be expected to summarise the marketing mix (4 P's) that you will use to position yourself within the market to meet your customers' needs. Provide a brief rationale. explaining your marketing mix configuration and how it relates to your targeted customer segments. Additionally, provide specific and clear examples for cach part of the marketing mix (4P's)
