You needed to upgrade an existing application that requires a higher version of SQL Server Instance. Write down the missing two steps you need to execute during a database level upgrade.

Use sp$\_$helplogins to generate the logins related to the database to be migrated

Restore full backup, differential backup and transaction log backup with no recovery model

Stop the application

Take a tail log backup

Set the database compatibility mode

Repoint the application to the new server in short answers
