You orally offer to sell me your Rolex watch for $4000 and I agree. I had you $4000 in cash and you hand me the watch. The next day you want to have the contract rescinded since under the UCC it needed to be in writing, under the Statute of Fraud (SOF) You can get your Rolex back because the contract needed to be in writing under the SOF.
