You perform an experiment, calculate your percent yield, and are shocked to find out your yield is 118% WOW! You're going to be rich!

Not so fast. Assuming you did the math correctly, what could cause you to get a yield OVER 100%? Think critically to answer this, and choose ALL that apply:

A You sneezed on your product, introducing more moisture to the dry solid.

B Your product is not pure, and contains impurities that you haven't removed yet.

C You spilled the reaction beaker half way through your experiment, and lost some of the chemicals in the process.

D You worked really, really carefully and just did a really excellent job. You're so good at chemistry that you consistently make more than 100% yield.
