You receive a call this afternoon from Mabalemi Maleka, Non-Executive Chair, who sought your advice on a couple of matters. One of the matters pertained to an urgent issue that just arose. Maleka: The COO had informed me an hour ago that one of our straddle carriers was involved in an accident with an articulated truck last night. One of our trucks accidentally ran into the automated carrier, causing it to drop a container into another trucks cabin injuring one of our ground handlers and a contract driver. The driver of the first truck was unhurt but he was apparently driving for nearly twenty hours up to that point and claimed he was sleepy at the time of the incident. He is one of our own drivers who has been working with us for the past five years. The regulator is now investigating the matter and has suspended the operations at our Maxtown Beach Port until further notice. Id like your advice on the following:

(a) Recommend how Daistruk should best respond to the incident.
