You started a new job two months ago for a small organisation and have been reviewing the processes that are currently in place. You have had ongoing feedback during this time from several staff that there are certain people within the team who constantly make it difficult for other team members to complete their work.

Some of the reasons have been:
• The team member doesn't complete their part of a project on time.
• Incorrect data is being input into the system and others are spending time fixing the issues.
• The communication both verbal and written between staff is not sufficient.

You decide to review the previous process to determine how this has been recognised and addressed in the past and find there isn't really anything in writing to assist. You have spoken with your manager and they have asked you to put a process together.

The process should include:

• How the other staff and self will manage these situations on a day to day basis.
• Coaching.
• Training.
• At what stage in the process the staff member should be placed on a performance plan.
• The person or roles responsible for each aspect of the process.
