You were hired by a Canadian Maple Syrup farmer located in the provinces of Ontario or Qubec, to help his company export his Maple Syrup to international markets. His company is producing the syrup but does not have any knowledge in international business. You are the consultant, the knowledgeable person in international busines. Using your knowledge accumulated so far in your course you have to:

1. Explain in a few points form the negotiation process and prepare an International Sales Contract 2. Prepare a commercial invoice based on your contract ( a template can be found under the documents tab) 3. Explain the INCOTERM included into the contract and the reasons you suggested that specific incoterm.

Hints: Use the computer and do some research. ( eg. Find a real company which exports maple syrup, use their address in the contract, decide about a suitable buyer from any country where you want to export and use their info, check the real prices of maple syrup..) PLASE DO NOT SUBMIT A CONTRACT FROM THE INTERNET. It is considered plagiarism. Review all the theory and see the examples we discussed before doing this assignment. Prepare the contract based on the theory learned and your power points. The best team will be hired as an export manager at his farm !
