Increasing pressure for quality as well as revenue are the origins for your role (to lead strategy and marketing) as the organization seeks to diversity and manage risk for patients. Your CEO and Board Chair heard about the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model through National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) model a Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) initiative. Your task as the new VP of Strategy is to research the efficacy of these models, prepare a 1 page Executive Summary, PowerPoint Presentation (with narrative in the notes section) to the Governing Board and a Community Newsletter for your selected model recommendation.
