You will be writing a paper on your social justice organization. The social justice organization this paper will be on the “young feminist wire”

- You will provide a summary of your organization and why chose that organization

- how the organization fights against a system of oppression, and how the

organization can benefit from the tools we learned in class.

Your write up must answer the following questions:

1.Summary of the Organization

2.How is this organization fighting against a system of oppression (gender, race, citizenship,

sexuality, etc.)? How are they doing this?

3.How can this organization benefit from the tools we learned in this course? (Hint: Some tools

you may want to think about are: intersectionality, redefining difference-Lorde, understanding

historical and social contexts-Mohanty, feminism, etc.)
