You will come up and show atoddler (1-2 years old)provocation. A provocation is something that will capture toddlers' attention and will result in exploration.

Your provocation should lead to exploration and open-ended play that would be sustained and safe. Safety is essential (no choking hazards, no toxic materials, etc) You will use "loose parts" for this play experience. It's not a toy you buy at the store, but some everyday items put together for safe play. This is also not a "curriculum" activity in the traditional sense such as creating an art activity. It is an open-ended exploration of materials.
