you will describe the project of your choice which you will build in the class. This is going to be database management system that will be performing a number of tasks. First, your description should contain a paragraph that describes the type of business you will be creating a database management system for. Next, list and describe the tasks and basic operations that this business performs as a normal part of is everyday business operations. For example, if you are building database management system for the DVD rental store, your description should include the following tasks: adding DVDs, viewing DVDs, renting DVDs, etc. Furthermore, you should describe what kind of reporting capabilities your system should have. Again, if you are building a program for the DVD store, you should be able to give us reports such as most rented DVDs, existing DVDs, list by genre, etc. Through your description, you should show that you understand how this business operates and the needs that it has, in order to create a meaningful database management system. Make sure that you demonstrate the knowledge gained from chapters 1, 2, and 3. This part should be submitted as a 1-2 pages MS Word document. Does not have to be a DVD store, it was only used for an example.
