You will design a corporate policy for a topic of your choice, and write it from the perspective of an appropriate corporate function - inside an organization of your choosing. The corporate policy will be designed to provide mandatory guidance (i.e. it will prescribe, not describe) to an internal audience (e.g. all staff, or managers, or IT personnel), on a specific issue (scope). The Policy will be formatted into sections and will also include: a policy title; a date that the policy is in effect; a clear policy owner; a policy statement that summarizes the intent of the policy; and a more detailed protocol section of at least three steps, which will explain what the policy requires the audience to do.
