You will draft a motion to dismiss the complaint filed against Derek under FRCP 12(b)(2) based on a lack of personal jurisdiction. You will also draft a memorandum of law/points and authorities in support of the motion to dismiss. You will need to conduct outside research and use relevant cases from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in your memorandum of law/points and authorities that address the issues in order to complete this assignment. You received some guidance on how to conduct this research in Legal Research. You can also use United States Supreme Court cases. Both the motion and memorandum of law/points and authorities need to be submitted as one document. Please complete them sequentially in the same Word document.
