you will have the option of writing a short synopsis/summary of either of the two landmark academic papers , viz. 'Milton Friedman's seminal address to the AEA, 'The Role of Monetary Policy' OR 'John Hicks' 'Mr Keynes and the Classics: A Suggested Interpretation'. Both papers are already on Moodle. Your task is only to attempt a summary of the key ideas presented in either of the 2 papers. I am not expecting a thesis or dissertation; however, it is imperative that you have a basic comprehension of the macroeconomic concepts emphasized in them.
