a.    Summarize the corporate social responsibility of any company of your choice.
b.    Evaluate three programs offering training services on the web.
c.    Investigate the customer service practices at local banks.
d.    Evaluate the financial pros and cons of child-care and elder-care benefits to employees.
e.    Evaluate the impact of COVID-19 on Toronto-based businesses in 2020-21.

 

The key questions to ask yourself when planning a business report are:
a.    Who are the intended readers of the report?
b.    Is the report reader-focused? Does it achieve its purpose?
c.    Does the report match the style and tone appropriate to workplace communication?
d.    Does the report adhere to the principle of readability?

 

Your report will contain a title page, table of contents, and the following six sections:
a.    Summary
b.    Introduction
c.    Discussion
d.    Conclusion
e.    Recommendations
f.    Appendices

 

Format the report using the following information:
a.    Single space the document, use 11- or 12-point Arial font.
b.    Proofread for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
c.    Label, number and correctly place the graphics.
d.    Keep a consistent tone, style, and voice, throughout the document.
e.    Make it visually appealing by using one-inch margins, keeping a good balance of text per page, and considering areas where some colour may be added.
