Your co educator has arrived at work and said that she did not have time for breakfast so instead of doing the planned rainbow experience
Your co educator has arrived at work and said that she did not have time for breakfast so instead of doing the planned rainbow experience (which was planned to support the children's current interests and development of colour recognition) she is going to get the children to make fruit smoothies because she is hungry and will need food before her scheduled break. The educator has not prepared and leaves the room to go and get resources from the kitchen. When she returns, she does not have enough resources for all the children and only allows a couple of children to assist while the other children sit and watch. The children start to get restless and begin to talk and move around the mat. The educator continues to make the smoothie yelling at the children telling them to sit still and be quiet or they won't get to have some smoothie. Once the smoothies are made the educators pours herself a cup and instructs you to share the rest out amongst the other children. While you are providing the children with their smoothie and encouraging them to sit on their bottoms until they have finished the other educator sits down and drinks her smoothie as she uploads the pictures that she took of the children participating in the experience to the service's online portal.
