Your final project is to create a personal leadership development plan. Over the course of the last few weeks, you had an opportunity to assess your leadership style and learn about the impact of a leader's behavior on follower and outcome. Leaders are learners and spend quality time in reflection and personal and professional growth. You need to know where you are now and where you want to be (Posner, 2015). Then, you can make a plan to achieve your ideal self. To begin the process of developing a personal leadership plan, you will conduct a gap assessment by responding to the following questions:

Describe your ideal self as a leader and the timeframe for developing the skills necessary for success.

What skills must be acquired to become your ideal self?

Based on leadership assessments, what qualities need improvement?

What opportunities must be present to learn the skills?

How do you want to be supported as you develop your plan?

What are the principles you live by? (Hint-leaders must know and exhibit principles every day)
