Your friend, the owner of Cupcakes 'N' Coffee has been doing quite well thanks to you! In a moment of generosity you even waived your fee for helping them. You are always a phone call away day or night and have become their sole confidant(e) in regards to the management of their shop. It is a little mentally and emotionally exhausting but you are glad for their success. They are doing so well in fact that they will now need professional assistance to manage their business intelligence activities including the design and implementation of a business database system. Your friend has a meeting setup with OraAWMicro a company that specializes in the design and implementation of business intelligence systems for growing small businesses. You have a lot going on and are not sure if you will be able to make this meeting but you do not want anyone taking advantage of your friend. Therefore, you will need to put together an executive report for your friend to send before the meeting and to have in hand during this meeting. The executive report will be sent to the OraAWMicro representative that will be meeting with your friend. You want your friend to be able to communicate what their needs are and be in charge of the narrative, since this is a sales meeting.

Your friend has told you that they maintain a very large spreadsheet with the following fields:

CustomerID, CustomerName, DateofBirth, Address, TransactionID, ItemBoughtID, ItemBought, AmountSpent, BusinessID, BusinessName, BusinessAddress, TransactionDateTime, ItemPrice

You remember working on an assignment like this in your IS301 class at UAH with Dr. Avery. It had the following requirements:

1. Create the database tables and name the attributes and the tables. How many distinct tables and attributes will this database be comprised of?(15 points)
   1. ***Bonus*** Are there some data (attributes/fields) that your friend should be collecting but they are not? What else would you want to see collected for prior to the purchase of a DBMS vendor? What tables will these new attributes go into? (5 points)
2. Identity the primary keys and the foreign keys for each of the entities. ( 5 points)
3. For each attribute by table(entity) denote the data type and field size for implementation in Microsoft Access. (10 points)

4. Create the conceptual model by creating multiple connected entity relationship diagrams. Please be sure to show the relationships(1:M, 1:1, M:N) between and among the tables either utilizing Chen Notation or Crows Foot Notation. (20 points)
5. Write five helpful sample business questions and their associated queries utilizing SQL (structured query language) so that your friend is able to generate reports at some set interval e.g. daily, weekly, monthly, and/or annually for the cupcake shop. (15 points)
6. Articulate as clearly as possible the data sizes they will probably be working with to the unit of measurement. For example you do not have to say "3 terabytes", you can just say "terabytes"etc. You can articulate this based on storage at some set interval e.g. daily, weekly, monthly, annually. Another way is to articulate the data sizes you KNOW they will NOT be working with. Inform your friend of the storage size that will be best for them. Remember that more storage means higher costs also remember from the Excel assignment the number of customers that are served per day when thinking about the solution to this.(5 points)
7. Based on the answers from questions 1-6 , write a coherent executive report for your friend to have on hand with him in the meeting and to send out via email to the sales representative before the meeting. Discuss one of the three cloud types that will be the very best for the shop and your friends circumstances (remember they are NOT tech or traditionally business savvy). Also, be sure to articulate the current network type probably being used in the shop. Be sure to utilize a visually appealing cover page and present the information in a persuasive executive report format making sure to incorporate the answers to each of the questions and additional explanations as needed (30 points)
