The first discussion posting for this class was a simple introduction as a way to market yourself. Now that you have gone through the course material, especially the role of communication in achieving marketing objectives, reflect on your original posting, make any changes, and enhance your brand. Does the original version hold and why? Discuss any updates you now want to incorporate. Have there been any changes after learning more about marketing communications? Any enhancements to your brand description to make it both informative and engaging?

As you plan your next academic progress as well as beyond UNCP, think carefully about how the world sees you. Personal branding helps you identify and communicate your unique strengths. It differentiates you from your peers and helps you in growing a career. Moreover, effectively creating and managing your brand provides focus on your individual goals to become the kind of person you want to be and also to achieve the things you want to achieve. Furthermore, personal branding is an ongoing, lifelong process.

Note that there are no "correct" answers because each person is different. The important aspect is to communicate what you represent and want to accomplish.
