Your project topic is "News Center". You may develop a database for any department(s) or service(s) related to a news center. When working on the project, make sure to follow all the guidelines given in the Project Description:

Project part1 draft MUST include the followings:

• Screen shot of your assigned project topic (required)
• Business description of your topic
• Business rules (4-5 business rules)
• Entity Relationship Diagram (5 to 7 entities)

Guidelines:

1. Limit your project to about 5 -7 entities. This will make it easier to build because when you start to figure out the relationships between the entities you will more likely than not find the need to add a bridge, and depending on what entities you chose and the relationships they share, that will produce one or more additional entities.
2. No specialization (hierarchical, or supertype/subtype) relationships. Including this will make your database unnecessarily complicated for the purposes of this project. Although, if you are feeling confident then don't let me stop you!
3. Make sure you include entities that will permit you to include numeric attributes because you will be expected to do math on the database later. You cannot do math with text values.
