Your target audience for this project is somebody completely unaware of MS SharePoint, they have absolutely no idea what they are. This should make it easy when choosing how to present your information.

For this, explain a lot of the basics; how the program works, who uses it, collaborative & productivity tools, and anything else that someone would find useful learning and generating a general idea of how the program is used. Detail, detail, detail!
