Georgia: 30 stores South Carolina: 10 stores Florida: 15 stores Alabama: 20 stores You must select a location for the Regional Administrative Office Your warehouses/distribution centers can be located anywhere but your choice of location must make sense. 50% of your merchandise will be imported through the port of Savannah GA and 50% through the port of Jacksonville, FL You will decide on what type of retail store. Example: Sporting Goods, Jewelry, Designer Fashion, Discount Fashion, Discount Store like Dollar General, Grocery Store like Kroger's/Publix, Racetrack, fast food, Coffee Shop, etc. Your type of store will dictate your locations-Demographics Factors to consider: Land, access to highways, access to labor force, demographics of locations, distance between stores, fuel cost, etc. You will have 24 trucks (6 Kenworth's, 6 Peterbilt's, 6 Fords, 6 Macks) Each truck has the capacity for two stores Each store will get two deliveries per week. (seven days) All stores must be grouped together in four districts Each store must have a unique identification number Components/Sections of Project 1.Fleet Management/Physical Asset Management System Each truck will have a unique identification number/designation/location-home Technology Assets: 300 cash registers in the stores, 50 computer terminals in Warehouses. Each piece of equipment must have a unique identification number/designation. 2.Map of Stores/Distribution Center/Reason for location of DC's List of Store Numbers/letters Grouped with District Number/letters-Each store/district must have a unique ID. Unique Identification number/designation for district(s) and all stores. Same for Warehouse Must provide a narrative on the reasoning for choosing store locations and warehouse location (demographics, land acquisition, highway accessibility, etc.) 3.Weekly route/Schedule for Stores 4.Grand opening marketing plan-Promotions Plan for Store openings
