You've recently gotten into raising backyard chickens. It's pretty great- you get lots of fresh eggs, and you love getting to watch your four chickens (Queen Elizapeck II, Joe Bidhen. Na-pollo-en Bonaparte, and Catherine d'Medicheep) going about their business. However, lately you've noticed a problem. Any eggs laid in the corner nest box of the coop seem to disappear. At first you were concerned one of the chickens was sick, but all four have used the box at various times, and when they use other nest boxes, they're still laying eggs like normal. They used to lay eggs in that box too, but for the past month, something has gone awry. How will you investigate this mystery to determine the cause? Is an egg thief about? Or is something wrong with the box itself? Work together to generate a hypothesis, make predictions, and develop a test. I will then describe the results, and you can use this information to identify the culprit or design additional tests as necessary
