These items include: curtains which match the colours of his business's logo; a large built-in stationery cupboard used to house the range of colours and sizes of paper Zhou uses in his business; an external security spotlight and timer to provide greater protection at night when his business is closed; tiles which allow ink spills to be easily cleaned up; and a portable air-conditioner for the comfort of his customers during the hotter months of the year. (a) Explain the difference between a fixture and a chattel and the tests employed to determine whether an item is a fixture or a chattel.
