Prewiring does not imply lack of modifiability. Human behavior is highly susceptible to change. To assume that humans have a genetic predisposition to behave in particular ways does not mean that it is right to behave in those ways. Believing that because things are a particular way means they should be that way is to commit the naturalistic fallacy.
