In Exercise 3-20, the parts undergoing drying were not animated, which is a kind of animation error; more importantly, we were not able to get the time-average number of parts undergoing drying; and, you should have noticed a discrepancy between the time-average number of parts in the system and the sum of the time averages of the number in each of the queues. Fix all this at once by assuming that there will never be more than ten parts at a time undergoing drying (which turns out, after the fact, to be true for this model with these input distributions and parameters and only one replication of this run length, but might not be true if you changed any of these input specif cations).
