At the Warren County Fair, one of the animal events was evaluating hogs on several criteria. Based on the criteria the hogs were rank ordered. Wally Sedwick, director of the Warren County Fair, and Denise Heban, a member of a high school 4-H club, evaluated and ranked the same hogs. Following are the results. Using correlation analysis, evaluate the consistency of the two raters by answering the following items.

a. Explain why Spearman’s rank correlation is the appropriate measure of association.b. Draw a scatter diagram. Place Director’s ranking on the horizontal axis and 4-H Member’s ranking on the vertical axis. Do any of the points seem to be outliers?c. Compute the coefficient of rank correlation.d. At the .05 significance level, can we conclude there is agreement between the raters?
