An experiment used dogs trained in distinguishing healthy patients from patients with bladder cancer by smelling certain compounds in the patient's urine.  In each trial of the experiment, one urine sample from a bladder cancer patient was randomly placed among six control urine samples from healthy patients and the dog had to identify the one from the bladder cancer patient. Define the parameter and the null and alternative hypotheses of interest, letting one hypothesis reflect the possibility that dogs actually do better than just randomly guessing which sample is the one from the bladder cancer patient.
