Organizers randomly chose numbers, using the computer to generate the sample randomly. Choose another sample by using either the Random Numbers web app from the book’s website, the website random.org, or statistical software such as StatCrunch, MINITAB, JMP, SPSS or others.
(Note: In practice, a statistician would include a seed number, which allows the computer to replicate the same sample.)
