Electricity is perceived as the best form of energy, because burning oil and natural gas emits carbon dioxide and because nuclear power leaves dangerous spent radioactive fuel rods. To examine the issue, random samples from the four generations (Silent, Baby Boom, Generation X, and Millennials) were drawn and each reported their annual electricity bills. Do these data allow us to conclude that differences exist in electricity bills between the four generations?
