In the article “A new genus of the family Theraphosidae (Araneae: Mygalomorphae) with description of three new species from the Western Ghats of Karnataka, India” (Journal of Threatened Taxa, Vol. 4, No. 14, pp. 3233-3254), M. Siliwal analyzed a new genus with three new species of Theraphosidea. A Theraphosidea has 8 legs with 4 being symmetric to the other 4.
