The U.S. Census Bureau in conjunction with the Bureau of Labor Statistics conducts surveys that record a wide variety of subjects. In the Consumer Expenditure Survey of 2014–2015 respondents were asked their age and the amount of money spent in the previous year on alcoholic beverages. Compute whatever statistics you need to determine whether age and alcoholic expenditures are related.
