If you did not do that exercise, go back and read the question to see how to download the file and then open it in SPSS. The introduction to that Web page describes the data. Read the first three chapters

(they are very short) and then read Chapter 4 on describing and graphing data. (That chapter is a bit longer, but most of that is taken up with graphics.) Recreate the frequency distributions and graphs that are shown there, varying the courseness of the display.
