A recent study, however, extended this research by examining the extent to which employees’ intentions to leave their organizations are influenced by the organizational commitment of their co-workers. In other words, are employees more likely to leave their jobs if their co-workers are less committed to their employers (e.g., the co-workers are actively engaged in searching for new jobs)?
